How our service relates to content
Tu Latino TV is not a host, producer or broadcaster, and keeps no file library that a notice could point to in the usual way.
We do manage access. If a valid notice identifies material we are able to remove from that access, it comes out quickly; if it falls outside what we can act on, we tell you so directly rather than sending a form reply.
How to send a notice
Email your notice to [email protected]. 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) requires every notice to include the six elements listed below, and we can only act on a notice that has all of them.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.
Our response
Complete notices are handled without delay. Material within the access we manage is removed; for anything outside it, we explain why and, when we know, who to contact instead.
If an element is missing, we write back naming it, so you can complete the notice and send it again.
Counter-notice
Think something was taken down in error? You can reply with a counter-notice containing: your signature; a description of the material and where it was located; a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number together with your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
If a line is the subject of more than one complete and substantiated notice, we close it, and no refund applies.
Notices sent in bad faith
17 U.S.C. § 512(f) makes anyone who knowingly misrepresents infringement liable for the resulting damages, costs and attorneys' fees. Please check your facts before you send a notice.
